Zimbabwe ferry disaster death toll rises as more bodies recovered

The death toll from a boat accident in Zimbabwe has risen significantly, according to reports from multiple outlets. The Independent reports the figure has reached the high sixties, while The Guardian confirms more than twenty additional bodies have been recovered.

The vessel went down on inland waters, though the cluster carries no detail on the cause or the ferry's capacity. Recovery operations are continuing.

Zimbabwe's history with transport infrastructure is one of gradual decay since independence.
