Lowe offers Farage deal to unite the aligned right - five conditions attached
The Crossbencher Newsdesk

Rupert Lowe, the Reform MP for Great Yarmouth, has said he can work with Nigel Farage to unite Reform and Restore Britain - but only if five conditions are met. GB News and the Express both carry the offer.
Lowe, who left Reform in December to co-found Restore, has set out terms: Farage must agree to a written constitution, commit to leaving the European Convention on Human Rights, adopt a policy of net zero migration, back proportional representation, and accept that Restore's existing MPs keep their seats. The Express frames it as a potential path to reunification; GB News quotes an unnamed Reform source calling the conditions a "wish list".

The offer is less remarkable than the fact it was made at all. Six months ago Lowe and Farage were in the same party; now one is setting terms for the other to meet. The split was billed as ideological - Restore positioned itself as the harder, more explicit nationalist alternative - but the five conditions read less like irreconcilable differences and more like a negotiating position. Every one of them is already within the Overton window of Reform's base.
What to watch: whether Farage responds, and whether the offer was designed to unite the two parties or to highlight the gap between them. The arithmetic matters - together they hold nine seats; divided, neither has the weight to move legislation.
